Important pair of late 17th-century early 18th-century devotional plaques from Trapani. They are made on embossed and chiseled gilt copper. The entire surface is richly decorated with commas and scroll motifs in red coral, and in the central part we find figures of saints made in a coral branch , surrounded by silver crown. The two plaques, are typical devotional objects made by Trapani craftsmen, are highly sought after and rare to find and are also, in a splendid state of preservation.
