Large bas-relief made of 19th-century white Carrara marble carved by sculptor Rosolino Barbera " 1838-1866 " in which the Italian poetess, the 18th-century poet Nina Siciliana, considered the first Italian woman to poet in the vernacular, is depicted. The poetess is portrayed in profile with elaborate hairstyle, with her hair gathered on her head by a crown , similar to celebratory portraits of poetesses or allegorical figures and long hair falling over her shoulders. The portrait depicts her from a composed and aristocratic expression. The 'work is mentioned in the biography of the artist in the volume edited by Luigi Sarullo " dictionary of Sicilian artists- sculpture ".
