Elegant dresser of French provenance from the Louis XV era " tombeau " of the 18th century, stamped under the top J.B. Fromageau " 1743 - 1793 ". Curved and domed in shape and made entirely of bois de violette slab and rosewood. Features five-drawer front, with three small drawers below the top and two large drawers below. Front of drawers inlaid with floral motifs in various woods, as well as the sides of wavy line, also inlaid again with floral motifs in various woods. It has elegant and rich gilt bronze trimmings , and is topped with marble top in original Breccia Argentum. N.B. To note small lack in one corner of the marble left side see photo.
