Elegant pair of Meissen manufacture porcelain perfume burners marked on the bottom with the AR initials " August Rex" HELENA WOLFSOHN from the second half of the 19th century mounted on gilt bronze mounts. Cylindrical in shape, it has a rosebud-shaped lid socket decorated with animated Saxon landscape scenes . Central body with polychrome decoration in the round depicting on one side animated Saxon waterfront landscape scenes and on the other side animated Saxon harbor landscape scenes. The two burners are mounted on rich and elegant gilt bronze mounts with the handles ending in lion heads and of the foot all worked in plant motifs with sphinx figure at the four small feet.
