Rare pair of Genoese corbels in carved, lacquered and gilded wood, made in the second half of the 18th century, in the Louis XVI period.The corbels have a wavy and elegant structure, with a molded front and rich carved decoration. The central body is characterized by an important acanthus leaf motif in relief, set on a molded base, while the upper part is decorated with stylized plant elements.Particularly interesting is the lacquering in shades of green/blue, typical of Ligurian production of the period, which combines with the gilding to create a whole of great decorative effect.Objects of good quality workmanship, designed as both functional and ornamental pieces of furniture.Good state of preservation, with signs of time consistent with the period.Sold in pairs.
