Description and details
Four stackable side tables by Gianfranco Frattini for Cassina – Model 780 – 1960s/1970s Original set of four stackable side tables, Model 780, designed in 1966 by Gianfranco Frattini for Cassina, Italy. Original Cassina production from the 1960s–1970s, likely from the model’s first production run. The side tables feature a circular frame made of stained beech wood, characterized by three vertical supports and reversible laminate tops that can be used in either black or ivory. The four different heights allow the tables to be used individually or stacked perfectly inside one another, forming a single compact cylindrical unit. The Model 780 is an interesting example of 1960s Italian design, in which Gianfranco Frattini combines simplicity of form, functionality, and elegance. All four tables retain the original Cassina – Made in Italy label, featuring the manufacturer’s historic logo. In good overall condition, with slight signs of age and use.
