Our history

It was 1969 when Francescon Maria Iole sensed how antique objects could give soul and identity to our homes. From this awareness was born Antichità Missaglia, founded on a precise vision: the antique not as a simple memory of the past, but as a living presence in everyday life. In the following years, the leadership was taken over by his son Iglis, who, together with his wife Carla, expanded and strengthened the business, driven by a deep passion for Tyrolean painted furniture and designer furnishings. It was during this period that aesthetic research was refined and the offerings were enriched with pieces selected for quality, balance and character. Iole was my grandmother, Iglis is my father. Today I proudly carry on this legacy, together with my wife Giiulia, maintaining the historical proposal and expanding the entire new section of paintings, continuing to work with the same respect for the material and history. Our goal remains unchanged: to propose an idea of "antique design," capable of dialoguing with contemporary spaces without losing authenticity. Antichità Missaglia is, first and foremost, a family history. And a passion that continues.
