Description and details
The two mirrors feature shaped carved wooden frames embellished with phytomorphic motifs and rosettes. The partially worn gold leaf gilding highlights the reliefs and gives depth to the decoration. The upper part features a central floral element, while the lower part ends in symmetrical scrolls. The oval mirrors, small in size, show signs of use and oxidation consistent with the age of the artifact. The workmanship and decorative taste are reminiscent of production in the Italian sphere in the second half of the 18th century, with influences typical of the Rococo style.
