Six-light Empire-style chandelier with crystals – Napoleon III era Elegant Empire-style chandelier dating from the Napoleon III era, second half of the 19th century. The structure, made of partially lacquered metal, features six sinuous light-bearing arms, embellished with cut crystal pendants. The central body, with its characteristic hot-air-balloon shape, consists of numerous chains of barrel-shaped crystals of varying sizes, arranged in ascending order from smallest to largest, creating a harmonious cascading effect. The central circular band, decorated with ornamental motifs in the Empire style, connects the upper part of the chandelier to the ornate lower structure, which culminates in a large faceted pendant. A chandelier of remarkable visual impact, characterized by the lightness of its composition and the brilliance of its numerous crystals. Period: Napoleon III, second half of the 19th century.
