Pair of crystal and gold metal wall sconces

The two wall sconces feature a wall structure with a shaped back, covered with mirror, from which two candle-holder arms each develop. The arms, made of gilded metal, are embellished with beveled crystal elements and end with worked saucers. The top is decorated with pendants and stylized floral motifs in glass and crystal. The arrangement of crystal drops and strands, combined with the presence of the back mirror, is typical of Empire-style productions and later interpretations of the early 19th century, which take up chandelier models translated into wall format. The elements show oxidation and signs of use consistent with their age.
