The interior, lined in green velvet with gilt decoration, holds a fascinating array of accessories typical of toiletry boxes of the period: various glass containers, toiletry instruments with bone and mother-of-pearl handles, carefully organized storage compartments. The lower part features a jewelry drawer, also lined in velvet, with shaped spaces for jewelry, bracelets and other small valuables. The lid also includes a letter pocket in draped green fabric, a detail of great elegance and functionality. Equipped with a working lock with original key.
