LUIGI XVI NEOCLASSICAL INLAID DRESSER

Neoclassical Louis XVI chest of drawers, panelled in walnut and precious woods. The front has three drawers inlaid with leaf motifs squared by ebony filleting, and fitted with neoclassical gilt bronze vents and handles. The rectangular top, which is also panelled and panelled, is embellished with a central inlaid panel depicting the allegory of Fidelity. The sides have the same slabwork bearing in the center the profile of an Emperor.
