Important Tuscan console table from the second half of the 19th century, made of finely carved and gilded wood and characterized by a spectacular wavy line of Rococo taste.The shaped band presents a rich decoration of scrolls, foliage and ornamental motifs finely carved and engraved. In the center stands out a large folder with a shell motif that lends the whole elegance and strong decorative impact.The imposing wavy legs are connected by a shaped crossbeam enriched by an important central element carved with foliage and scrolls, creating a harmonious whole of great execution quality.The original Green Alps marble top perfectly follows the sinuous course of the structure and helps to further enhance the richness of the gilding.Because of its size, quality of construction and scenic presence, this console table is particularly suitable for entrances, reception halls, galleries and period residences.Good overall condition with normal wear and tear compatible with age.
