Description and details
Wall shelf made of wood carved with scrolls, with a leaf gilded surface and wavy profiling. The slightly concave shelf is supported by a highly decorative structure characterized by plant elements and rocaille motifs, with a sinuous and dynamic course. The back has a central hole for wall attachment. The artifact shows signs of wear and localized gilding wear, consistent with an advanced age and prolonged decorative use. It fits into the ornamental production related to eighteenth-century taste, although the execution suggests a later work inspired by that period.
