Walnut and maple octagonal coffee table from the 1800s Dimensions: Diameter 65 cm - Height 75 cm Age: Mid-1800s Elegant octagonal coffee table of Italian manufacture, from Emilia-Romagna, made of fine woods. The octagonal-shaped top is finely veneered in walnut with maple inlays, organized in a refined geometric composition with a central star, from which linear and decorative motifs branch out, enhancing the natural grain of the wood. The central stem, also inlaid, leads to a shaped base with three wavy feet, giving solidity to the structure and momentum to the whole. The balance between decoration and functionality makes the coffee table a tasteful object, suitable both as a piece of furniture and as a collector's piece.
