Description and details
An elegant pair of cherubs carved from Carrara marble, characterized by refined craftsmanship and delicate expressiveness. The attributes accompanying the figures suggest a possible allegorical interpretation linked to the cycle of the seasons. The putto holding a bunch of grapes could represent Autumn, traditionally associated with the grape harvest and the abundance of the harvest. The other figure, with a cloth draped over its head and holding a bundle of plant elements, could instead evoke Summer. These sculptures possess timeless charm and blend harmoniously into both classic, refined settings and modern, contemporary contexts.
