Description and details
Elegant ecclesiastical chasuble in fine purple silk damask, embellished with wide golden chevrons that harmoniously frame the decorative structure. The fabric features a refined stylized floral and plant motif, characteristic of Italian liturgical production in the early decades of the 20th century. The purple color, traditionally used in the penitential periods of the Catholic liturgy, gives the robe a sober and solemn elegance. The ensemble is distinguished by the quality of workmanship and the still-vivid brilliance of the fabric. Complete outfit: in addition to the chasuble are the stole, maniple, chalice cover and corporal bag, coordinated and made of the same fabric and with identical gold trim. A precious liturgical ensemble, ideal for collectors, antiquarians and lovers of sacred art. Condition: Good overall condition, with slight signs of use consistent with age. Complete and well preserved. Provenance: Private collection.
