Beautiful youthful manly portrait first two decades of the 20th century ,also painted on the back ,oil on canvas applied on thick cardboard in the back of the cardboard other painting depicting interior scene also by the author GIUSEPPE TORELLI- ( Cormons 1881 -trieste 1958 mis.frame 80x75 cm paintings 55x50 cm The painting shown is an early portrait of Giuseppe Torelli (1881-1958), an Italian artist and teacher. The work is on thick cardboard. Giuseppe Torelli was a postimpressionist painter and also devoted himself to printmaking. He studied at the Vienna School of Art and taught for many years in technical colleges in Trieste and Pieve di Cadore. The work depicts a man with a dark beard and mustache, wearing olive green or light brown clothing.
