Marine still life with fish, Giovanni Omiccioli

Pictorial composition combining elements of still life and seascape. In the foreground, on a shaded grassy seabed, a fish is depicted flanked by shells and a sea urchin. In the background, the landscape opens toward the sea, with a horizon strip interrupted by a red boat and profiled by coastal vegetation. The pictorial layering adopts light, layered brushstrokes, with color transitions that blend shades of green, blue and pink into a harmonious whole. The treatment of light and choice of colors suggest an atmosphere suspended between reality and lyrical interpretation, in keeping with the author's output. On the back of the painting is a photograph with authentication, applied as a certification of the work.
