Large 18th-century embroidered fabric banner ,religious banner or standard made of white or ivory fabric, which features an embroidered thread monogram. The forto fabric is taken only in part has a width of 150 cm x a height of about 2.30 cm, The monogram is The central and dominant element ,is a large stylized "M," which stands for Mary.The letter is surmounted by a crown and, at the bottom, intersects with a cross.A widespread Catholic religious symbol used to indicate devotion to the Virgin Mary.
