Large Art Nouveau centerpiece in glazed ceramic - Manifattura Quaglino Poggi, Albisola

Elegant and rare Art Nouveau counterpiece made by the Quaglino Poggi manufactory of Albisola in the early decades of the 20th century. The piece features a refined plastic relief decoration with a female head surrounded by flowing hair that blends with the sinuous, undulating lines of the rim, typical of Art Nouveau taste. The ceramic is molded and glazed in delicate ivory, green, and gold tones. The work stands out for its strong symbolist and decorative charge, consistent with the poetics of Italian Art Nouveau.
