Elegant and scenic mid-twentieth-century Italian mirror, made in the 1950s in refined Florentine Baroque style.The frame is made entirely of finely carved and gilded wood, characterized by a rich cartouche decoration and leaf volutes, typical of the Tuscan decorative tradition. The composition is very animated and plastic, with large openwork volutes that frame the central mirror, creating a whole of great ornamental effect.This type of mirror, inspired by the Baroque and Rococo models of the Florentine eighteenth century, was much appreciated in Italian decorative productions after World War II, intended to furnish elegant and representative environments.A very decorative object with a strong visual impact, ideal for entrances, living rooms or bedrooms.
