Antique silver chalice with Italian manufacturer's marks, 18th century

The piece features a decorative style typical of Italian-made sacred silverware (often associated with workshops in Rome, Naples, or Genoa) dating primarily from the 18th century. It bears marks that I have been unable to identify. The Base: It has a rounded, stepped circular shape, richly decorated with large foliage volutes, floral or phytomorphic motifs, and cartouches. The Shaft and the Knot: The shaped central knot echoes the same volute ornamentation as the base to ensure stylistic continuity and ergonomic comfort for the officiant. The Cup and the Cup Base: The lower part of the cup (cup base) is enclosed within a decorative embossed frame featuring shell motifs or geometric cartouches, which supports the smooth cup that flares at the top.
