The painting shows a portrait of Saint Agnes a Martyr Saint, identifiable by the presence of the palm of martyrdom she holds in her hand. Also recascribed on the upper left side Analysis of the Work The work has several characteristics typical of Italian sacred painting between the 17th ,identifiable with Roman school- Style and Origin: Paintings with these characteristics (use of chiaroscuro, voluminous drapery and pose of the figure) are often attributed to the Italian school ,to be precise the Roman school of the 17th century. Composition: The figure is depicted in a half-length pose, looking towards the viewer or slightly to the side, dressed in warm-colored clothing and classical drapery. The painting bears an antique ebonized and gilded wood frame- The work has an old rintelo- With wood lamp has no particular pictorial remakes- mis.cornice 103 cm x 83 cm canvas 83 x 63 cm
