bronze sculpture depicting a putto (a child angel) with a dolphin, made by Neapolitan sculptor Vincenzo Cinque (1852-1929). The work is signed by the artist and dates from the late 19th century. It features beautiful workmanship and rests on a green marble base. Vincenzo Cinque is known for his bronze sculptures of popular subjects and Neapolitan "scugnizzi," and is considered one of the fathers of 19th-century Neapolitan sculpture.
