A large ceremonial plate in lustre majolica from the renowned Rubboli workshop in Gualdo Tadino, created around the mid-20th century. The decoration, executed entirely by hand, depicts an elegant female profile in the Renaissance style, inspired by 15th-century Italian portraiture. The figure is set within a rich ornamental composition featuring floral motifs, geometric elements, and fields of golden lustre that create refined effects of light and iridescence.The piece perfectly embodies the artistic tradition of the Rubboli workshop, renowned for reviving and reinterpreting the ancient techniques of Renaissance metallic lustre.
