This beautiful antique vitrine or display case looks like it is a piece of fine cabinetry , late 17th-century Baroque style from Tuscany. Featuring an elegant carved wood frame, lacquered in faux marble and gilded. Style and Period: The decorative elements, such as the curved cymatium and the figures of cherubs or cherubs on the sides, are typical of the late 17th early 18th century Baroque period of high quality productions . Tuscan manufacture ,gilding and lacquering opriginal never underwent any kind of restoration. Materials: The frame has a refined green faux marble lacquer (with painted veins) and gilded wood profiles, a classic combination for aristocratic furnishings.
