Small Chinese carved wooden cabinet - China, mid-19th century

Refined small Chinese cabinet dating from the mid-19th century, made of solid wood and finely hand-carved. This piece of furniture combines functionality with aesthetic refinement, perfectly representing the Chinese cabinet-making art of the 19th century. The surfaces are embellished with panels carved with floral and naturalistic motifs, symbols of prosperity and harmony in Eastern tradition.
