Rare wooden figurine depicting a Moorish butler—18th century—Venice

A rare articulated mannequin depicting an 18th-century Venetian Moorish butler, made of wood with glass eyes. He wears richly decorated clothing: a red jacket with silver embroidery, a silk bodice with a gold-embroidered crew neck, held in place by a sash at the waist, and knee-length trousers with gold stripes. His serious face is adorned with green glass earrings and matching glass necklaces; his left hand clutches a long wooden cane with a knob. The shoes are painted.
