Francesco Maria Pieri (Castagneto Carducci 1941 - Livorno 1989). For many years he worked in Livorno and from a very young age was part of the Labronico Group. Bound to the theme of landscape, which he realized with strength, vibrant and full-bodied brushstrokes, study of perspective and light. He sensitively captured the colors of the seasons, the red and burnt tones, the work of man, the silence of farmhouses. Landscapes and seascapes, but also still lifes or compositions with objects of rural life and fruits, are painted almost with hyperrealist technique.
