Description and details
An elegant set of four Art Deco wall sconces, dating from the 1940s, made of iron with diffusers of pressed, translucent, satin-finished glass. The glass panels, identical across all four pieces, feature a refined Art Deco-style relief decoration: the geometric fan-shaped composition, punctuated by vertical ribs, is embellished at the bottom and on the sides with stylized floral motifs. The satin finish of the glass enhances the relief and allows for a pleasant diffusion of light. The iron frames, with their characteristic triangular shape, are embellished on the sides with small scroll-like elements. The four wall sconces form two slightly different pairs: in one pair, the curls have a more rounded shape, while in the other they are slightly more angular. The glass and dimensions, however, are identical across all four pieces. A particularly decorative set, representative of the Art Deco style of the 1940s and suitable for both period interiors and contemporary decor. The four wall sconces are in working condition.Period: 1940sStyle: Art DecoMaterials: iron and satin-finished pressed glassHeight: 35 cmWidth: 32 cmMaximum depth: 12.5 cmQuantity: four pieces, consisting of two pairs
