Description and details

This extraordinary 18th-century table lamp represents a true masterpiece of decorative art, capable of combining elegance, symbolism and the highest quality craftsmanship. From the first glance, in fact, it is striking for its scenic grandeur and richness of detail, making it an absolutely prestigious element for any setting. The base is made of finely carved wood and painted in faux marble, with realistic grain and fine gold details that enhance its three-dimensionality. In the center emerges a delicate cherub's head, a typical iconography of the 18th century, a symbol of purity and protection, carved with great skill and artistic sensitivity. This element gives the lamp a strong historical and decorative value. The lampshade, also original from the 18th century, is made of black silk and gold, embellished with the highest quality pure gold thread embroidery. The scene depicted, the pelican feeding her children, is charged with symbolic meaning and enriched with elegant floral decorations, creating a refined play of light and matter. The important dimensions - base height 77 cm, lampshade h. 53 cm (48 × 48 cm), total height 130 cm - make this lamp ideal for representative settings, prestigious studios or art collections. A rare piece, destined to be enhanced over time. We ship worldwide via FedEx - UPS - DHL with professional packaging and insurance. Shipping throughout Europe to be agreed upon.
