Extendable oval Bolognese table, from the early 1800s, with a walnut top. A rare extendable Napoleonic Empire-style table, of Emilian origin. The base consists of a four-legged frame with an ovoid central column, featuring organ pipe-style moldings. The large tabletop, meanwhile, is embellished with a fine veneer displaying a concentric, sunburst pattern. Its generous extension allows it to seat up to 16 guests.
