Description and details
French wedding cabinet, Louis XIV style, made of walnut and burl wood. An imposing Baroque cabinet from the late 17th century, originating from the heart of Burgundy. The rich design of this piece immediately draws attention to its beautiful height-to-width proportions, the refined paneled doors crafted from carefully selected walnut, and the rounded corners of the cornices and pilasters. Another notable feature is the integrity of the “bolts” and the lock, both featuring lily-decorated rack mechanisms, as well as the presence of its rare key, featuring a cross in the mechanism and ox horns on the handle. The sturdy spindle-shaped feet are also intact. Dimensions (cm): W 167, D 69, H 265. WOULD YOU LIKE TO SEE MORE OF OUR ANTIQUE CABINETS?
