Alabaster lamp-sculpture, Tuscan manufacture, early 20th century

Elegant table lamp made of carved alabaster, Tuscan manufacture of the early 20th century. The work depicts a young female figure in a graceful attitude, with wavy drapery and finely chiseled details. The sculpture stands on a hexagonal base and supports the stem, which culminates in a luminous globe, also made of alabaster, decorated with a fine fringe motif in relief.
