Large carafe with 6 fine glass glasses with silver-plated brass appliqués with worked tray,late 19th century early 20th century art nouveau style This item is an art nouveau (Art Nouveau) liquor or beverage service, consisting of a large carafe (or pitcher), six glass glasses and a matching tray, dating from the late 19th or early 20th century. The set is made of fine glass worked with thin horizontal grooves and embellished with decorative silvered metal applications (often silvered brass or pewter typical of Central European manufacture of the time).
